Our world is VUCA – it demands resilience
Our VUCA world (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity) confronts people, teams, organisations and systems with considerable challenges. Resilience is essential: for employees, children, adolescents and parents, but also for anyone else who feels challenged by current developments. On top of that come new organisational and leadership models (e.g. agility/self-organisation), which can undermine our patterns of thought and behaviour, convictions and beliefs and make us feel insecure. However, not only the working world is challenged by VUCA, but also society as a whole, particularly families, the elderly and highly vulnerable groups.
